To acquire and operate by purchase, lease, or gift real or personal property interests in the former atlantic coast train station and surrounding property in the city of fort myers; rehabilitate the property; and construct a 13,160 square foot building adjacent to the train station to house the foundation's offices and a collaboratory, a space where collaborations are conducted between the foundation, nonprofit organization, government agencies, and business to improve the lives in southwest florida.
