Affordable care ACT implementation fund (acaif) provides new support to state-based health advocates in the form of grants which will be used to ensure effective and consumer focused implementation of the affordable care ACT.the action fund was created to ensure that national, state, and local health care policies and delivery systems meet community and individual needs by sponsoring and promoting public education, advocacy, community participation in policy-making, and collaboration among stake-holders and others dedicated to improving the nation's health care system. The action fund provides support for state-based health advocacy to ensure health reform reflects consumer interests and concerns, especially those of low-income and vulnerable populations.
