HFPG special assets, INC. Is a type 1 supporting organization of the hartford foundation for public giving. HFPG, INC. Is the sole member of special assets. Special assets is registered with the department of consumer protection, public charities unit in the state of connecticut.special assets is operated exclusively for public charitable uses and purposes. Its primary purpose is to hold gifts of real estate, interests in closely held businesses, tangible personal property and other assets that may not be readily saleable. Upon liquidation of such assets, the cash proceeds are to be transferred to HFPG, INC. For charitable purposes.
