Enriching our associate owner communities as a catalyst for collaboration and compassion, inspiring solutions for sustainable positive change. This year, our hope teams have supported more than 100 nonprofit organizations working towards our shared mission of creating sustainable, positive changes in the community and environment. Our general giving areas include health and wellness, food, housing, outdoors and climate, and education. Our strategic focus area of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) aims to expose, excite, and engage youth in these fields of academic study and professional career paths. We have funded numerous robotics, drone, and aviation teams and competitions. Our strategic focus area of substance use disorder focuses on prevention education, increasing empathy, and removing stigma. We fund programs aimed at sustaining and supporting recovery. Our newest strategic focus area of early childhood focuses on preventing adverse childhood experiences and supporting healthy outcomes of positive childhood experiences. We support programs to sustain childcare center quality and access, parental confidence, and youth resilience. To globalize our giving and our delegate philanthropy model to all regions where we have a physical presence, we funded international grants through the hope foundation. Decision-making at the local level in brazil, emeia, italy, and singapore has enabled associates in these regions to continue making connections with nonprofits for funding and volunteer opportunities.
