The Minnesota Children's Alliance (MCA) is an accredited state chapter of the National Children's Alliance and works with centers in Minnesota to meet the child advocacy center accreditation standards. MCA supports MN children's advocacy centers (CAC), their partner multidisciplinary teams, and all communities responding to child abuse allegations through multidisciplinary teams, developing local CAC's and supporting professionals in the field through training, research and advocacy ineducation on public policy. Services include supporting established CAC's, assisting local communities develop new centers and multidisciplinary teams, promoting and educating on best practices in child abuse investigations, and trauma-informed services. The organization assists staff of member organizations with statisticalanalysis, database entry, case tracking, inventory maintenance, coordination, record keeping and scheduling.
