The corporation shall plan, coordinate, and submit applications for grant funds and distribute grant funds for the benefit of the community hospitals participating in the indiana hospital bioterrorism and preparedness district 2. The indiana counties comprising district 2 are elkhart, fulton, kosciusko, marshall, pulaski, starke, and ST. Joseph.district 2 hospital emergency planning committee will use funds received to purchase equipment and supplies to be used for and by all of the district 2 healthcare entities to better respond to emergency/disaster situations.
