The jack miller center's central projects are the american political tradition project to build and empower a nationwide network of scholars who teach america's founding principles and history; the founding civics initiative to drive innovation in university-based teacher preparation of k-12 civics and history teachers; and the annual national summit on civic education to build a diverse coalition of leaders to restore civic education on a nationwide scale. In 2024, this work included the miller fellows program for early-career scholars, new initiatives to enrich community colleges and the american history field, a senior fellows program, a new graduate education consortium and 161 scholar-led programs for k-12 teachers.
