Meadville medical center foundation is the fund-raising arm of meadville medical center and related entities established for the purpose of acquiring donor support to assist in the continued advancement of the medical center. Through your gift, you are helping to ensure the highest quality healthcare will be available to members of the crawford county region community. Patients and families have always received excellent care at meadville medical center. However, beginning in the early nineties, meadville medical center board of directors recognized that there was going to be massive changes ahead for the healthcare industry. The increasing cost of technology along with diminishing resources created a need for new ways to obtain support for the medical center and its patients. As a partial solution, the board elected to establish meadville medical center foundation for the purpose of acquiring private donor support that would assist in the continued advancement of the medical center. Since that time, the meadville community has come together in support of the foundation's annual funds and capital campaign. The response to the MMC foundation from the community has been excellent. Generous support and prudent stewardship of resources, has allowed MMC to continue to upgrade its facilities, offer new services and provide high quality healthcare. It is anticipated that support from the community will continue and serve as the cornerstone of the future growth of the foundation.
