Pachc serves as the primary care association for pennsylvania, supporting federally qualified health centers (fqhcs), look-alike fqhcs, rural health clinics (RHCS) and other like-mission primary care providers across the state in improving health and access to quality, affordable primary health care. This includes medical, dental, behavioral, substance use disorder and other healthcare services essential to maintaining and improving health status of individuals and communities, as well as supports like enrollment assistance to gain the security of health insurance coverage, case management, transportation, and more. Pachc accomplishes its goals through provision of education, training, technical assistance, policy analysis, collaboration, communication, resource development and recruitment assistance to more than 475 sites across pennsylvania, that serve more than 1,200,000 patients, 67% of whom have incomes below federal poverty level and 86% with incomes below 200% FPL.
