The grinnell regional medical center auxiliary raises funds to support the grinnell regional medical center. Funds are raised through: the operation of a gift shop located within the grinnell regional medical center, volunteers staff the grinnell regional medical center cafeteria during breakfast hours earning half of all proceeds, and through contributions from the general public. The funds raised are contributed to grinnell regional medical center for equipment purchases and other operational expenses that aid in the care of the patients of grinnell regional medical center. The auxiliary also provides scholarships to students with an interest in the medical field.
