Pennsylvania partnerships for children (PPC) is a strong, effective, and trusted voice for improving the health, education, and well-being of the children and youth in pennsylvania. PPC's core values are to be an independent, non-partisan, research-based, statewide child advocacy organization and our vision is to ensure every child living in pennsylvania can thrive and reach their full potential. Its policy agenda includes: -child welfare: ensuring children can grow up in a home where they are safe and protected from abuse and neglect.-early care and education: ensuring that children can access affordable, high-quality early childhood education including infant and toddler child care and pre-k education.-home visiting: ensuring parent education and support, ultimately promoting child health, well-being, learning and development.-k-12 education: ensuring children can access an adequate and equitable high-quality public education.-maternal and child health: ensuring each pregnant woman and child has access to affordable, quality health care. -conduct sound research and data analysis to inform public policy development.-serve as an objective resource for the media to inform policymakers and the public.-coalition building and stakeholder engagement, including a specific focus raising grasstops voices in the military, law enforcement, and business sectors.-direct policymaker education at the state and federal levels.

Provided public education materials to over the media, interested stakeholder organizations, policymakers and the general public on key aspects of child well-being: -produced and distributed special reports on critical issues impacting child well-being including: state of child welfare 2022, promoting permanency and successful adult outcomes for transition age youth, state of children's health care 2022, congress must ACT now to reauthorize the miechv program, expanding access to high-quality universal pre-k for pa pennsylvania's children, celebrating 15 years of pre-k counts investments are working, the road to success includes high-quality pre-k, statewide advocacy agenda to improve part c early intervention services for pennsylvania, and lessons learned from the german model: investing in a strong cte system -produced a series of data-driven fact sheets containing data at the statewide, congressional district, county, state legislative district and/or school district levels on issues such as child care, pre-k, insurance coverage, WIC enrollment, home visiting, medicaid and CHIP enrollment, etc. -produced and released regular policy updates on progress in children's policymaking, distributed via email in a bi-weekly e-newsletter (distribution list of nearly 10,000 individuals) and made publicly available online. -presented publicly in-person and virtually on key children's issues, including at legislative and executive branch meetings and hearings, as well as statewide and national seminars and conferences.-used social media tools to provide timely information.-served as a resource on children's issues for the media.
