To meet identified community goals, united way convenes rugular trainings and meetings on expected standards and outcomes, and opportunities for networking with other nonprofot organization and the community-at-large.alliance fund - resources dedicated to helping individuals and families with utility bills in the city of sunburyand in union county.early childhood coalition - focused awarness efforts with dedicated staff on the importance of quality early child education and experiences by creating a network of advocates, providing education and volunteer resources to quality early childcare initiatives; inspiring legislative advocacy amoung the business community northuberland, snyder and union counties; providing continuing education opportunities for child care providers; and administering programs targeted at improving the quality of care for all children in our service area so the every young child begins kindergarten ready to learn. A collaboration of united way, early childhood professional, school districts, community partners and families which all have stake in the early development of every child. Through research, we know that 90% of the brain develos by age five and that quality early educational experiences give the children the foundation they need to later succeed in school and in life.
