The organization supports the charitable purposes, programs and services of RWJ barnabas health, INC. And its affiliates including the tax-exempt acute care hospitals and medical centers of rwjbarnabas health which provide medically necessary healthcare services to all individuals in a non-discriminatory manner regardless of race, color, creed, sex, national origin or ability to pay. Specifically, the organization historically coordinated the system business office ("sbo") and has acted as the system's central treasury.
