Saint mary's hospital foundation was established in 1984 in order to support the hospital and expand the services provided to the community. With the commitment and generosity of the greater waterbury community, the foundation has since been able to raise the funds to renovate and expand facilities, develop crucial outreach and clinical programs, acquire state-of-the-art equipment and technology, and attract an accomplished medical staff who bring a variety of different skills and expertise to the greater waterbury community.some of the foundation's greatest accomplishments have been creating the new women and infant's center and clinical laboratory, renovating our emergency department, thus improving the services we offer in a more timely manner, and bringing the davinci robotic surgical system to the area in order to provide patients access to minimally invasive surgical procedures.in addition to expanding our facilities and services, saint mary's hospital remains committed to providing the highest in quality care to every patient, every day through a variety of different programs.
