THE EMPLOYEE PARTNER ASSISTANCE FUND (E.P.C.F) IS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST WITH HARDSHIPS WITH HARDSHIPS DUE TO ILLNESS, INJURY, DEATH, FIRE, OR OTHER CATASTROPHIC EVENTS. THE E.P.C.F. DOES NOT PAY MEDICAL BILLS, HOWEVER THE FOUNDATION WILL ASSIST WITH LIVING EXPENSES TO OFFSET THE COST OF MEDICAL BILLS.During 2024, the E.P.C.F. transitioned to a digital platform managed by the Emergency Assistance Foundation to expedite and facilitate requests for grants in accordance with IRS guidelines in a non-partial, confidential forum. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FOUNDATION-HTTPS://EMERGENCYASSISTANCEFDN.ORG/-Transition to digital platform managed by Emergency Assistance Foundation (i.e., desktop or mobile, multilingual site and forms, repository for documents, 24/7 access).-Support docs can be provided in different formats and uploaded to a custom link each Employee gets when registering to apply.-24/7 support via phone, email and chat (multilingual support).-Non-partial review and confidentiality .-Grant review experts continue to comply with IRS rules. -Consistency in turn-around time; payout within 7-10 days after app approval.-Implemented an emergency grant process Immediate Response Grants that can be activated when FEMA/State agencies announce a location(s) to be a disaster area.
