Additionally, karmanos promotes, encourages, AIDS and performs scientific investigations and research addressing the cause, treatment and prevention of cancer. Essential cancer medical services are provided to the community. From october 2023 to september 2024, karmanos had 20,476 patient days and 2,248 discharges for an average length of stay of 9.11 days. In addition, there were 227 bone marrow transplants, 999 inpatient surgeries, and 6,930 inpatient imaging encounters.
