To promote and enhance the public perception and image of fisher houses and the united states armed forces; to construct and furnish fisher houses to temporarily house families and loved ones visiting military personnel in hospitals and to provide the same for other persons qualified to use such facilities; to provide financial assistance to current members of the united states armed forces, veterans and their families; and to make scholarships. Available to members of military families recognizing the readiness of the military and the role of the commissary in the military community.
