South nassau university health system, INC. ("snuhs") was organized to oversee the strategic planning and coordination of the delivery of health care services, facilities and programs. The organization also oversaw the implementation, development and improvement of managed health care systems. Snuhs was the sole corporate member of south nassau communities hospital (the "hospital"). Effective october 2018, mount sinai hospital group, INC. Became the sole corporate member and active parent of the hospital.
