To improve the lives of individuals and families by ensuring affordable quality housing, by improving the social and economic stability of neighborhoods and by expanding locally based community development efforts. 49 families, including 80 individuals were served under these programs.shore area community development corporation (sacdc) and alpha community services YMCA (acsy), a branch of the central connecticut coast YMCA, are related organizations through an operational arrangement. Sacdc holds title to certain properties used for low income housing, and acsy operates the client support programs within those facilities. Sacdc functions as the property owner/lessor, while acsy provides administrative oversight, program management and supportive services to residents.
