Pora provides several programs for our member areas throughout the year the pora lift maintenance program is a highly successful program offered free to our member ski areas. This program is recognized by the state of pennsylvania as a continuing education program and generates some additional revenue for our association through the attendance of state inspectors and out-of-state lift operators. We also offer a free snowmaking seminar to our member ski areas. Additionally through our relationship with the ski area rentals & accessories management program (sara-BP), which offers discounted buying programs to our member resorts, we receive a commission from their purchases. A win-win for the association and our members.
