Goodwin house development corporation (GHDC) - provides support and extends the charitable and benevolent mission and purposes of goodwin house incorporated by developing additional retirement communities in the greater northern virginia area, and whose primary focus will be to serve the needs of the elderly by providing care and services in accordance with the same exemplary standards enjoyed by the residents of the communities owned and operated by goodwin house incorporated. GHDC provides services in affiliation with the episcopal dicese of virginia through the oversight and coordination provided through the corporation's parent organization and sole member, goodwin house incorporated. GHDC engages in and conducts all business necessary or suitable for the accomplishment of the above purposes.
